Tips to make holiday shopping a breeze

Do you dread waiting in endless lines with other last-minute shoppers? Well, it doesn't have to be a part of your holiday season. By planning ahead, you can save money, reduce hassles and enjoy holiday shopping.

Shopping is a breezeGet organized
Make a list of anticipated holiday expenses. Estimate what you can afford to spend on each item.

When you have your budget, start shopping. Early shopping takes the bite out of holiday expenses because you spread your purchases out over time. Typically, you'll find better bargains and a wider selection than in December.

Use e-commerce
With many retailers offering online purchasing, you may not need to rush out to the store to find the perfect gifts -- just point and click! And, retailers often offer Internet customers special sales and discounts.

Use LaSalle's MasterMoney Card
With LaSalle's MasterMoney debit card, shopping will be even easier! The card works both as an ATM card and a debit card. It allows you instant access to your funds at LaSalle ATMs or any machine displaying the Cash Station® or Cirrus® logo. It also lets you pay for purchases at the point of sale, anywhere MasterCard is accepted. The cost of the purchase is deducted directly from your checking account and shows up on your monthly statement.

For more information or to apply for a LaSalle MasterMoney card, visit your local LaSalle branch or call (800) 772-9977.
